On 7 November 2026 (16 Aban 1405), coinciding with Prince Reza Pahlavi’s visit to Frankfurt, the leadership and members of the Iranian Red Lion and Sun Society plan to be present with medical and first-aid volunteers, according to the Society’s announcement.
The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom will award its 2026 Freedom Prize to the Iranian people at Frankfurt’s historic St Paul’s Church (Paulskirche). According to the Foundation’s announcement, Prince Reza Pahlavi will accept the prize in trust on behalf of the Iranian people.
The planned presence reflects the Society’s humanitarian and first-aid role.
